For those who prefer their teas to be mildly sweet, Oolong Tea will be a good choice. Any Oolong tea has what’s known as a muscatel taste, which is a flavour unique to tea grown and produced specifically in this area, and this Oolong tea is no exception to that. The tea leaves for this mix are from the second flush of the picking season.
Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea, it is a combination of black and green tea leaves. It contains several vitamins, minerals, and helpful antioxidants. Oolong tea does contain caffeine but it is also very relaxing and calming. The antioxidants which are found in the tea help reduce blood sugar and insulin levels. Oolong tea also contains fluoride which in the long run helps strengthen tooth enamel and reduces the formation of dental plaque. How to Steep
- Preheat your cup with hot water for 1 minute then pour the water out
- Take 2 grams of Oolong Tea in the warm cup.
- Fill the cup with 95°C (205°F) hot pure water and enjoy the aroma
- Let the tea steep for 4 – 5 minutes and enjoy the great taste up to 8 infusions
